A very nice family restaurant with an amazing breakfast buffet on sundays for the whole family. Be ready to wait if you come at their busy hour but it is worth it! I must admit I did not get a chance to try their beautiful looking pies but I sure will try them next time around.

I eat here often with groups. 9 times out of ten this place is awesome. The food is usualy good. I really like the Navajo taco. But the crown of this place is the weekend buffet. This is what makes Idaho Joe's 4 stars. All you can eat great food. Tri-tip, bacon, eggs, an omlette/crape chef, deserts, and eggs benedict to just name some of the offerings. The prices are very affordable took a group of 7 and the bill was under $50.

As soon as we got into Twin Falls there were some serious rumblings going on in the cabin of the Ford Explorer but it turns out it was just our stomachs. Not sure where we wanted to stop, the grandparents recall wanting to try Idaho Joes so stop we did! The outside of the place reminds me of a Black Bear Diner meeting up with a local steakhouse chain in my area called Tahoe Joes. We were seated and drink orders taken, I decided to be bad and have a pop (as my grandpa calls it) while the others went for less diabetic shock drinks. Looking over the menu it too reminded me of BBD with many American classics to choose from. I think I actually veered away from one of my staples because it sounded/looked good so I settled for a Chicken Club on Ciabatta. The sandwich was fantastic and I was also pleased that they gave us some fry sauce for our fries because had they not had it, Ranch would've been the alternative. I also dug our waitress as she was cheerful and had a nice smokey voice to go along with it. I don't know what it is about smokey waitresses but they always seem to complete the look/experience for me. I can see myself coming back should I find myself back in the TF :)

Had the smokehouse burger and pie. Way better than what I was expecting! Delightfully delicious and would definitely stop by here again! Their pies are great as well, I had banana cream :)

My husband and I took a chance on this place and were pleasantly surprised. Great comfort food. We had a very nice salad to start. Wonderful cornbread. My husband had chicken fried steak and fresh mashed potatoes with gravy. I had fish (cod) and fries. Our meals were delicious. Everything is made fresh here. My husband and I are on vacation. We definitely would come here again when passing through. We also would recommend it to others. Our waitress Kristi was was so helpful and wonderful.

Delicious soup, fantastic fry sauce and amazing pies! The pie slices were huge and the pie crust on my pecan pie was butter delicious. Very friendly waitress and staff.

Service was good prices were good, food wasn't good. Had the pulled pork sandwich special and it was boiled pork with little sauce. Tasted old and terrible my wife had the chicken cordon blue. That cane with spicy mustard it wasn't terrible just odd. Half order of biscuits and gravy tasted like gravy from a can. Not the best.

Very friendly service but food is pretty average. Generous portions. Coffee come with milk in those little plastic cups. Gotta do better than that. The crowd is definitely older at 9am on a Saturday morning. I'm over 50 and the youngest guy here.

Compare this to a local Perkins or small Applebee's. Service was very friendly and nice, food ok, and prices fair. The boysenberry crunch pie was yummy but everything else, though prepared decently, was forgetful. We are driving through but if we did live here, I'm sure there are better foodie places... I hope at least!

The BF and I were on a cross country road trip. We stopped in Twin Falls for lunch and to check out the falls. Trying to stick with more local restaurants, we found Idaho Joe's - definitely a place we wouldn't find in WA. We started off with the Indian Fry Bread with the cinnamon and sugar. It was ok, but not what I was used to having in AZ. It was more like carnival food, but I wasn't complaining. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich with potato salad. Both were mostly unremarkable. The BF had a roast beef sandwich and some soup. Also, just kind of eh. It looked like their desserts were popular, but we didn't really have room for such a thing. We did pick up some seasoning salt they had for sale on the way out. Neither of us had used it at the place, but looked. Since getting home, I've used it several times and definitely enjoy the flavor. This place is definitely a good option if you're seeking a place to eat in Twin Falls, just don't expect a crazy good experience. Expect typical diner food and average service.

Went to Twin for the weekend and stumbled onto this little gem. I had the country fried steak skillet and it was delish!!! Diane was our awesome waitress. Clean, reasonably priced, friendly, locally owned, food was great , what more do you need.

We stopped here for breakfast hoping for much more. The menu is very simple. I had the Joe's Skillet. You'd think the signature dish would have a little more originality to it. Pretty plain.

I have been here many times. This is typical northwest country diner food. There are lots of good sandwiches and burgers. I do like their country fried steak more than a lot of others I have tried as it is not to thick with the breading but stays crispy, but they send it out with the gravy on the side, which I think is a smart move to avoid the soggy that I despise. I mean, if your going to order something that is so un healthfully fried, it better be crispy dang it. I do so like their pie and they have quite the list of flavors. The crust is not too thick and they aren't cheap with the fruit in the fruit pie options. Their portions are very generous and they always have at least 3 soups to choose from. Their salads, for me at least, leave something to be desired, but I am an anti iceberg proponent, and that is the base for most of their salads. Their prices are pretty modest, especially considering the portions. The food is not epic per say, but it is definitely good food at a good price with friendly staff. I (and my son) really like their corn bread too, not too dense, pretty light as far as corn breath goes, served warm with whipped butter and honey.... Delisious. Sorry for the guy that got the off waitress, in the probably dozens of times I've been there the service was ranging for good to excellent. But as far as I'm concerned if you want a Navaho taco, you need to make a trip to Owyhee, NV Taste of Heaven. Sorry joe, but you ain't got nothing on them.

It was my fault. I was looking for something local rather than the same old chain restaurants. Idaho Joes looked the part. My wife ordered fried cod. It was fried to a deep brown dryness. I ordered meatloaf and got something resembling scrapple. I think it was wrapped in bacon, had a lot of sage in it and was too greasy. I could not taste the garlic in my garlic toast, but it may have been fried on the grill, it tasted meaty. One of my least favorite meals ever.

Stuck in Twin Falls for a few days on business, I was a little worried there weren't any local restaurants based on the absence of Yelp help for the town. Luckily, there are plenty. There just aren't any Yelpers in the area. Idaho Joe's is located in a large, cavernous building that looks like something straight out of an old west movie. Or at least used to. Today, it has been renovated into a typical diner. The waitresses (all of which are at least 50 - or seem to be) immediately greet you with a, "Hi hon! You bet we have a seat for you right over here! The menu is typical diner fare consisting of sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads and fried stuff. There were three homemade soups on the board: beef vegetable, beef nood and corn chowder. The menu has an option of a bottomless soup bowl. If all of their soups are as good as their beef vegetable, this is a great option. The soup was obviously made out back with large chunks of real beef, fat veins still included and everything. It was delicious. I ordered the Beefeater sandwich consisting of roast beef, onions, lettuce, tomato and mayo on toasted garlic bread. It was quite tasty. Nothing out of this world, but quite tasty. The place is best known, however, for its pies. A glass case displays them when you first walk in. They're obviously homemade - they look just like the ones that come out of my oven at home. I tried a piece of boysenberry crumble. It again was good. Not great. But solid. That sums up this whole experience. Everything was solid. Not great. Solid. The soups might be an exception.

Had breakfast at this place, then went back a second time...they offered a buffet breakfast, plenty of good stuff to eat, reasonable prices. The kids loved it, we liked it, win.

Good food and fast friendly service. My steak was cooked just like I asked and very tasty. Veggie were grilled and the cheesy garlic toast was nice. The steak had sauted onions and mushrooms on it and choice of soup or salad for less than $10. such a deal.

Idaho Joes is just OK, it is not the first place that I would consider. The pie selection is great and is one of the things that makes it distinguishable from other restaurants.

Very theme oriented type of decor...very rustic. Had the cheese bread and roast beef sandwich it was OK. Would have been great if the would have spiced up the mayo. I did have some pie and that was outstanding!

I gotta say, I have had better. The Navajo Taco was good. I will grant that. But, that is about the only thing that was. Ordered one of my kids a pizza off the kids menu. Later, the server says "Well, you know, its just one of those Tony's pizzas" So, they charge like triple the price and serve a kid a frozen crappy pizza. Strike one. The server was new. I am not trying to be overly critical, but we had to repeat ourselves at least four or five times. Me: "I would like the Navajo taco". Server to me "What would you like?". Me, "Navajo Taco". Server,"So, you want the burger?". I mean, for real? Strike two. Finally, that same server is picking up and spills a whole cup of salsa on my wife. Hey accidents happen no biggy. But, instead of apologizing, the server runs off, and the manager comes over and says "here are some napkins, your ok". That was it. I mean, they could have at least comped her a drink or something. Strike three. Guess I expect more for my money.
